Health is a state of body.  Wellness is a state of being.

The Phalcon Wellness Program was established in 2012 and has been growing and increasing offerings for employees health and well-being.  Our committee of employees from each site is governed by the following charter:


The Phalcon Wellness Program aims to improve employee health and well-being. Phalcon recognizes that employees perform their best when they are healthy and that optimal employee performance is necessary for Phalcon to be a leader in its field.


The purpose of the Phalcon Wellness Committee is to develop and implement programming that will enhance the health and well-being of our employees and their spouses/dependents. The committee will motivate personnel to embrace positive lifestyles and multiple aspects of well-being. This will improve employee health, presenteeism, productivity, morale in and out of the office, and help contain health care costs.


  • To create a corporate culture which supports and encourages all aspects of wellness for Phalcon employees including physical, social, emotional, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, and occupational wellness
  • To motivate employees to achieve individual changes that support healthy lifestyles
  • To control future cost increases in the medical plan and out-of-pocket employee costs
  • To motivate employees to become educated health care consumers
  • To increase friendships and interactions amongst co-workers to boost morale
  • To ensure that all employees are informed on relevant wellness information and have the opportunity to participate in the Wellness Program offerings


The Wellness Committee will consist of volunteer employee members from each Phalcon company responsible for actively promoting wellness initiatives at their site. Membership terms shall be one year from January through December and there are no term limits.

A representative with knowledge of Phalcon’s medical/health benefits shall serve on the committee. At least one member of the Phalcon executive leadership team serve on the committee, or be well informed of committee actions. The Committee shall seek nominations at the close out of each year and elect an overall Phalcon Wellness leader each January.


The Committee shall appoint a secretary who will keep agendas and minutes for monthly meetings. The secretary will be responsible for setting the agenda with input from the committee members and committee leader and for keeping accurate meeting minutes.

If you think you might not be able to take part in any our our wellness program activities or initiatives due to a health condition or a limitation you may have, Please contact your HR Representative and we will work with you and/or your personal physician to find an alternate program that’s in accordance with your health status.”
